Title II Compliance

All state, local, special purpose or semi-autonomous governmental entities MUST provide PROGRAM ACCESS to the disabled.

ADA Title II: From state and local governments to special purpose districts and toll roads, programs and services offered to the public must be accessible to everyone. Housing, even if temporary, must comply with strict guidelines (see the Mid-Atlantic ADA Center Housing Facilities slides (PDF, 1.6 MB)) and the routes to access all these facilities must comply with accessibility standards. Gene Mattera is licensed as a Certified Access Specialist (CASp) and is available through our CASp retainer services to fulfill the State of California’s requirements (CALBO CASp program presentation (PDF, 9.4 MB)). Whatever state you are in, we offer Title II accessibility audits for any public entity, and where issues exist, we create clear ADA transition plans to eliminate liabilities and prevent further mistakes which increase barriers to your citizenry.
